( G. Randall Goss/News-Review / January 18, 2013 ) Paul Vermeesch, 16, (far right) of Charlevoix works on a LEGO model of the Charlevoix Public Library at the library. Vermeesch finished the model Thursday surrounded by a group of enthusiasts of all ages, during the Artist in Action program at the library. More than 5,000 LEGO pieces from 24 separate sources were used to create the model, which was built with the architect's original plans. Friends of Library covered the cost of materials and Vermeesch donated his months of work and the finished model for permanent display. |
