Fallston Child Care Center celebrates 30th anniversary

Fallston Child Care Center celebrating 30 years of providing the Fallston area with quality child care.

Opening its doors in 1982 with six children of church members, this school has grown to be able to accommodate about 90 students a school year. Operating as an outreach of its parent church, Fallston United Methodist, it offers both day care for the working parent and 3- and 4-year-old preschool. Additionally, it provides before and after school care for school-age children who attend Youth's Benefit Elementary as well as a summer camp for ages 3 to 11 with many theme weeks of fun.

In addition to its full gym and playground spaces, 10 teachers provide students with lots of learning through fun. Whether the children are in Spanish class, music class or Bible study, there is always something new to try.

"FCCC is a wonderful child care facility. Its nurturing atmosphere puts even the shyest child at ease. The caregivers are extremely attentive and treat your child like they were their own. These qualities are worth their weight in gold; so much so that even when we moved away from the Fallston area, we still enrolled our child there. We love it," Aileen Flanagan, whose child has been part of Fallston Child Care Center for years, said.

Registration begins Jan. 2 for the upcoming Summer Camp and 2013 school year. For more information, call 410-879-4399 or e-mail Director Valeree Imperiale, valeree.imperiale@fallstonumc.org.
