Police identify man killed at Towson car dealership

Baltimore County Police have identified a man accidentally killed Sunday, Jan. 15, at Heritage Hyundai, in the 800 block of York Road, Towson. The victim is 45-year-old Glaucio Marcelo Dasilva of Roselle Park, N.J.

Originally reported as a missing person, Dasilva was found at about 4 p.m. Sunday, underneath the trailer of his car transport truck. It appears that he may have been attempting repairs to the truck when part of the truck fell on him, police said.

He was transported to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, which ruled that Dasilva died of asphyxiation.

Police had not immediately identified Dasilva, but did so on Tuesday. There is no evidence of criminal activity, police said.
