Arrests in Baltimore for illegal guns often lead to dropped charges or little jail time

Baltimore County police respond on the morning of March 1, 2010, at the Hess gas station on East Joppa Road. The owner, William “Ray” Porter, died after being shot at the station. The trial of Walter Bishop, the alleged gunman in the case, begins next week in Harford County.
