A man was stabbed in Havre de Grace early Thursday morning, Havre de Grace police said, and has already been released from the hospital.

The man, who is in his 40s, was taken to Harford Memorial Hospital at about 4 a.m. with several stab wounds to the neck and upper torso after he was attacked at a home in the 700 block of Market Street, Ofc. Jeff Gilpin said.

Gilpin said the police had previously responded to an argument between the man and two other people, a man and woman, in the 600 block of Water Street at 2:39 a.m.

"We are still interviewing the other two individuals," he said.

The man was conscious the whole time and was released from the hospital by 9:30 a.m., he said.
