William Stearns is turning 100 years old

William "Bill" Stearns turned 100 years old, and the community of Emeritus at Towson, where he lives, threw him a party on Oct. 7. "Uncle Bill" was what Margy Billmire from Monkton grew up calling Stearns. He knew her from the day she was born as he and his wife were renting a room in the Margy's parents house for the better part of her early childhood. They always stayed in touch and treated each other as if they were real family.
