Prince George's school budget meeting at Laurel High

Prince George's County Interim Superintendent of Schools Alvin Crawley is holding a series of budget meetings throughout the county to allow the community to voice their views of the school system's proposed operating budget for fiscal year 2014.

A meeting is scheduled in Laurel on Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the cafeteria of Laurel High, 8000 Cherry Lane.

Other budget meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the cafeteria of Gwynn Park Middle, 8000 Dyson Road, Brandywine; and Thursday, Nov. 15 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the cafeteria of Walker Middle, 800 Karen Blvd., Capitol Heights.
