Two dead on Bramble Court in what Prince George's Police call a murder-suicide

Prince George's County Police homicide unit is investigating what they say is a murder-suicide that left two people dead on Bramble Court in South Laurel Sunday.

According to police, officers responded to a shooting report in the 14100 block of Bramble Court around 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan 22. Police found a woman and a man —Aeris Lashay Beard, 19, of the 11200 block of Basswood Terrace, and Adam Clayton Owsley II, 21, of Bramble Court—both suffering from gunshot wounds. Beard and Owsley were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police investigations revealed that Beard and Owsley had been in a relationship for about three years. Police determined Owsley shot Beard before shooting himself.
