Laurel Moose and Laurel Police partner for toy run

Weeks of collecting toy donations at Laurel Moose Lodge 1504 came to a successful conclusion with the lodge' first Fort Meade Toy Run Dec. 17. Lodge members, in conjunction with the Laurel Lodge Moose Riders and the Laurel Police Department, transported the collected toys and goodies to the USO office at Fort Meade for distribution to needy children. Laurel Police officer Mark Schmidt, of the Motor Division, was behind the wheel of a Humvee that the Laurel Police Department donated to support the afternoon event.
