College notices: Laurel residents earn degrees from Frostburg State

The following students from Laurel received degrees from Frostburg State University: Courtney Branch, Bachelor of Science in theater; Amy Carr, Bachelor of Science in early childhood/elementary education; Meische Cox, Bachelor of Science in athletic training; Jacqueline Leffler, Bachelor of Science in psychology and sociology; Adesumbo Odunlami, Bachelor of Science in psychology; and Justin Redfield, Bachelor of Science in liberal studies.

John Feighner, of Laurel, a student at St. Mary's College of Maryland, in St. Mary's City, was named a Division III Scholar-Athlete by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The men's tennis team advanced to the Capital Athletic Conference semifinals this year.

Greyson Charles Mann, of Laurel, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Wofford College, in Spartanburg, S.C.

Kadija Sesay, of Laurel, graduated with a Bachelor's in management from La Salle University, in Philadelphia, Pa.

The following Laurel students were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at St. Mary's College of Maryland: Jessica Clayton, Julie Frank, Hailey Rector, Tessa Scheckelhoff, Michael Whiteman and Jaimie Wilder.
