Venus Theatre summer camp — Now registering students from third grade and older for week of July 11, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., doors open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Venus Theatre Play Shack, 21 C St. Based on Cynthia Cooper's, "How She Played the Game." Explore tools of theatre and work on play that embraces six female athletes. Physical activities, journaling, acting exercises, storytelling and story structure, learning to work together as an ensemble and rehearsing for Saturday performance. "Look Good … Feel Better" — Held by Laurel Regional Hospital and the American Cancer Society, Mon., July 18, 3:30-5:30 p.m., Laurel Regional Hospital, 7300 Van Dusen Road. Trained cosmetologist teaches participants how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and skin care products donated by cosmetic industry. Free, non-medical and product-neutral program teaches beauty techniques to women cancer patients in active treatment to help them combat appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. Session limited to 10 participants presently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment. Physician referrals accepted. Cosmetic kits are provided to enhance all complexion types. Crab feast —American Legion Post 60, Sat., Aug. 6, 6-11 p.m., 2 Main St. All you can eat crabs, crab soup, corn on the cob, meatballs, chicken wings, cole slaw, dessert, 6-8 p.m. Music by DJ Miles and dancing, 8-11 p.m. Tickets $35, must be purchased in advance; all draft beer and soda included in ticket price, 6-11 p.m. Adults only (must be 21 years old).
