Taste food from barbecue to cupcakes at Baltimore Washington Corridor showcase and networking night

The Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber will hold its Regional Business Showcase and Tasting, a night of networking, marketing opportunities and food, Thursday, April 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Suddath Relocation Systems, 1710 Crossroads Drive, in Odenton.

Expected to draw more than 300 attendees, the event premiere sponsor is Comcast Business Class. More than 50 business exhibitors and 20 restaurants and caterers will offer free tastings. Among those offering tastings are former Maryland state barbecue champion Dave's BBQ and Catering; R & R Taqueria, which was recently featured on the Food Network show Dives, Drive Ins and Diners; and a mobile cupcake truck.

Classic rock band "Poverty Ridge" will perform, and a 1932 modified street rod will be displayed..

Parking is free. Tickets are $30 for members, $40 for non-members. Buy three tickets, get one free. Tickets are $50 at the door.
