Infant and child CPR event teaches parents life-saving skills

Family and Children's Services of Central Maryland held an Infant and Child CPR class recently at Slayton House in the Wilde Lake Village Green for parents in its Healthy Families Howard County program as well as other members of the community. Representatives of the American Heart Association showed parents life savings skills and gave them CPR instructional kits donated by Ascend One Corp., of Columbia. Greenberries consignment shop also donated clothing to families who attended. Among the participants were, pictured, from left, Brenda Radtka and Kim Di Marco, both CPR instructors who work for Healthy Families Howard County and Elaine Candillac, also with Healthy Families.
