'Tis the season for an egg hunt at North Laurel Community Center [North Laurel/Savage]

The Spring Egg Hunt is back! It will be March 24, at the North Laurel Community Center, from 3 to 4 p.m.

Bring your basket to collect eggs and enjoy crafts. Register your child, 2 to 10 years old, at the front desk.

The Savage United Methodist Church will hold Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on March 16, 8 to 11 a.m. The church will hold its Easter Cantata on March 24 at 10 a.m. during the service. The church is at 9050 Baltimore St., and can be contacted at 301-725-7630 or office@umcsavage.org.

The Savage Historical Society will meet on March 18 at 7 p.m. at the F&M Center, 9032 Baltimore Street.

The North Laurel 50+ Center is holding several programs, including every second and fourth Thursdays a discussion group on local, national and global news called News Talk at 10 a.m.

Brain Fitness, a series of classes starting March 19, taught by Nurse Robin to help improve memory and cognitive functions. Terrapin Adventures at the Savage Mill will be host environmental speaker on March 21 and, on April 14, hold Rumble in the Jungle to help raise money for the Children's Cancer Foundation.

It's tax time. If you make less than $50,000 a year, there are two organizations that will help you with your tax return, free. AARP tax aides will be at the North Laurel Community Center on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2 to 6 p.m. The number is 410-313-0380.

Howard County VITA will be at the North Laurel-Savage MultiService Center on Mondays and Wednesdays, 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call for an appointment at 410-880-5917.

Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church will be holding its community yard sale on April 13, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Spaces cost $20 or $25 to include a table and chair. Call the parish office at 410-792-7982 for information. The sale will be held rain or shine.

Register now for the Reservoir Boosters Summer Camps for students in grades 2 to 9. There will be a variety of sports to choose from. Register now for $140 a week. After May 15, $155.
