Charity's Closet is expanding! The clothing re-saler has been so successful that it is now going to have Phil N. Thropy, a men's store, as well as Charity's Closet, which will become just for women.
Clothing is just $5 an item. The store also needs volunteers to work in the shop. This is a great way to learn how to work in retail, give back to the community or just have a fun time helping others. For the month of February, volunteers have a chance to win a nice handbag.
The idea of Charity's Closet is gently used clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories for resale. Proceeds support Success in Style, a program to help the unemployed with job interview skills and clothing to dress successfully. Success in Style is in the MultiService Center on Route 1. For more information, go to successinstyle.org.
