The 10-U Columbia Sun Devils travel team has two roster spots left. This is an elite travel team that will play a full fall and spring league season, Ripken tournaments and other local tournaments. We are looking for two well-rounded players who will not turn 11 before May 1, 2013. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a tryout.

Team registration is being accepted for the Central Maryland Soccer Association's 16th Annual Columbus Classic Oct. 6-7 in Westminster. The Classic is open to all USSF-affiliated school, recreation and club teams in the mid-Atlantic region. Competition is available for both boys and girls teams in the single-age groupings of U8 thru U14 and the dual ages of U16 and U18. Registration is open for the HCYP fast-pitch softball fall season for girls ages 5-17. This is an instructional program for 8-U, 10-U and 12-U players. Mt. Hebron's homecoming is Sept. 29. The day starts with a pancake breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the school cafeteria. Tickets are $5 in advance ($6 a the door); children under 5 admitted free. There will be entertainment and a silent auction.
