Team registrations are now being accepted for the 2014 Summer Breeze Boy's Club Lacrosse Tournament scheduled for the weekend of June 18-20 in Westminster.
The event is open to all teams in the mid-Atlantic region. Competition is available in the AA, A and B level brackets. The event features round-robin bracket competition, guaranteeing all teams a minimum of four games with additional playoffs where applicable.
Summer Breeze is sponsored by the Sandlot Lacrosse and NWA Lacrosse programs, and is a regional qualifier for the 2014 IMG National Lacrosse Championships scheduled for Nov. 21-23 in Bradenton, Florida.

Registration is now open for the 34th annual Howard County Striders' Women's Distance Festival 5K on July 27 at 7:30 a.m. at the Howard Community College Athletic Center. The event is part of the Maryland RRCA WDF Grand Prix, and will include women-specific sized technical shirts and a Luluemon tote bag. Pre-race warm-up and taping available, as are massage therapists for post-race muscle relaxation. Food and water is provided. Register before July 25 for best price.
