Clyde's 10K to bring road closings, traffic delays

This Sunday's Clyde's 10K race and fun run will close several roads in Columbia and bring traffic delays to many others.

The popular race, which is expected to draw more than 2,000 participants, is set to start at 8:15 a.m.

Howard County police said drivers should expect these roads to be closed until about 11 a.m.:

• Little Patuxent Parkway between Route 29 and Governor Warfield Parkway

• The eastbound section of Governor Warfield Parkway

• West Running Brook Road

• The southbound ramp from Route 29 to westbound Little Patuxent Parkway

• Westbound Little Patuxent Parkway at Route 29

• Ten Mills Road from Route 108 to West Running Brook Road

Traffic delays should also be expected on:

• Eastbound Route 108 between Ten Mills Road and Columbia Road

• Columbia Road between Route 108 and Little Patuxent Parkway

• West Running Brook Road

Police said closures and delays could change at any time during the race for safety reasons.
