Andrew Steckel, of Westminster, received a bachelor's in 1992 and master's in 1994. He was a wide receiver and team captain on the football team, and was named the most valuable offensive player in 1990. He was selected to the All Centennial Conference First Team in both 1990 and 1991 and received an All American Honorable Mention in 1991. He was on the dean¿s list all four years and was named to the GTE Academic All-America District II and Academic All-Conference First Team. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and while enrolled at the college, he worked as a residential counselor at Target Community and Educational Services Inc. He has served on the Baltimore County Commission on Disabilities and Maryland Mass Transit Consumer Advisory Committee, and works as a district manager for Arch Care Consultants, a vocational rehabilitation company.
