The Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce's Frederick Road Fridays Summer Concert Series reaches its halfway point July 19.
The sixth concert in the 12-concert series at the Mews on Mellor Avenue will feature the Players Band.
The 9-piece band uses a variety of horns and percussion instruments to perform a variety of reggae and rock songs.
Heavy Seas beer from the microbrewery in nearby Halethorpe and other beverages will be served by the chamber and other local civic groups and nonprofit organizations.
Proceeds from the Friday evening concession sales benefit the Catonsville 4th of July Committee and the parade award winners.
On Saturday, July 20, the Arbutus Business and Professional Association's first season of summer concerts continues Legend's classic rock and blues on the Selma Avenue parking lot, 5200 Selma Ave.
The free concert is 4-7 p.m. Beer, wine, soda and water available for purchase.

Later on Saturday, the Regal Beagles will perform smooth and soulful hits from the 1960s and the 70s at the Lurman Woodland Theatre on the campus of Catonsville High School, 6-8 p.m.
The six-piece band features tributes to bands such as Hall & Oates and Steely Dan.
On Sunday, July 21, the 10-piece band, Technicolor Motor Home, will feature songs from Steely Dan and the solo careers of former Steely Dan members Walter Becker and Donal Fagen.
Led by the keyboardist from the popular local band Crack the Sky, the band features hits from each of Steely Dan's albums.
Fans should bring chairs or blankets to the natural amphitheater on the campus of Catonsville High School, off Hilltop Road and Bloomsbury Avenue. Bench seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Food and drinks available for purchase. No alcohol, grills or pets.
