Catonsville: Kentucky Fried Chicken robbed

Baltimore National Pike, 5600 block, 7:03-7:53 p.m., Aug. 13. Man with handkerchief over a black revolver and another man with a stun gun jumped the counter at Kentucky Fried Chicken store and demanded money. They fled into wooded area behind restaurant with money.

North Rolling Road, 1000 block, 5:50-5:53 a.m., Aug. 12. Man pried lock off front door of Movie Sales and stole cash from inside.

Fordham Road, 4300 block, 4:30-5:07 a.m., Aug. 11. Keys stolen from ignition of motorcycle. Later attempt to steal motorcycle unsuccessful.

Harberson Road, 1400 block, 3:30-3:50 p.m., Aug. 10. Man told woman that he would be doing work in area and would have to dig a hole in her backyard. Woman went to backyard and talked to man. When she returned to house, she found box of silverware on floor and rings and cash stolen.

Leewood Avenue, 5900 block,12:15-1:15 p.m., Aug. 10. Man went into yard of his former boss and took his orange ride-on lawn mower and rode around in street, striking a parked vehicle. Mower returned and man fled on foot.

Baltimore National Pike, 5300 block, 10:30 a.m., Aug. 10. Front window of Nails Quest shattered and drawers ransacked. Eight nail drills and digital camera stolen.

Elm Ridge Avenue, 900 block, 11 p.m., Aug. 9 to 11 a.m., Aug. 10. A 22-inch black Weber grill stolen from backyard.

Edmondson Avenue, 5300 block, 3-3:18 a.m., Aug. 10. Man pointed black handgun in a man's face, stole cash, chips and soda.

Frederick Road and Shady Nook Avenue, 2:48 a.m., Aug. 10. Man pointed black handgun at another man and demanded money. When robber learned man had no money, he told him to walk away or he would shoot.

Rambling Oaks Way, unit block, 2:40-2:45 p.m., Aug. 9. Apartment broken into, property destroyed and passport stolen. Man arrested outside apartment and charged with fourth-degree burglary, theft of less than $100 and property destruction of more than $500. Passport returned

North Rolling Road, 1000 block, 10 p.m., Aug. 8 to 1 p.m. Aug. 9. Two commercial grade air-conditioning units stolen from roof of McDonald's.

South Prospect Avenue, Unit block, 9:30 a.m. to 8:45 p.m., Aug. 9. Black Sanyo 42-inch flatscreen TV and dark grey Sony Vaio laptop stolen. Entry gained through basement window.

Elm Ridge Road, 900 block, 3-3:05 p.m., Aug. 8. Man evicted from apartment complex seen climbing down from apartment of former landlord.

Edmondson Avenue, 500 block, 11 a.m., Aug. 8. Entry gained through back door of residence. Tan wallet with money stolen.

Waveland Road, 300 block, 9:45 a.m., Aug. 8. Man in blue button-down shirt, tie and khaki pants identified himself as employee of Baltimore Gas & Electric doing a service visit. Man left when told everything was OK. Purse that had been just inside front door stolen.

Highview Avenue, 4300 block, 9:30 p.m, Aug. 7 to 11 a.m., Aug. 8. Yellow and silver mongoose bicycle stolen from backyard.

Academy Road, 700 block, 7 a.m., July 30 to 9:37 p.m. Aug. 5. Flat screen 37-inch Magnavox TV stolen. No sign of forced entry. Windows found locked.

Kent Avenue, 500 block, 12 a.m. July 25 to 11 a.m. July 28. Shed doors left open. Bicycle stolen.
