Congratulations to lovebirds Jim and Maureen Westwater, who will count up 50 years of wedded bliss on Oct. 28. The Westwaters have two sons and three grandchildren.
Special wishes to a Halloween birthday girl, little miss Marisol Toledo, who will blow out three candles on her cake on Oct. 30 with Mom and Dad, Jackie and Oscar Toledo.
And last, but far from least, happy birthday to "Mister Joe" Sabatino, who will celebrate his 90th birthday on Oct. 28.
A Wine-Tasting Night will take place on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 7-l0 p.m .in St. Isaac Jogues Church Hall, 9215 Old Harford Road. This event benefits the Youth Group, but attendees must be over 21 to purchase a ticket, which at $15, includes five wine samplings, salad, pasta, desserts, food-pairing lessons, and a complimentary wine glass for the first 150 people.

The Parkville Senior Center, 8601 Harford Road, will hold a Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. l0, from l0 a.m. to 2 p.m, The community is invited to this event where food and beverages will be for sale.
Vendors are being sought. A space reservation, which includes an 8-foot table and two chairs, is $15. A contract for a vendor space must be signed in advance of the bazaar and mailed with a check payable to the Parkville Senior Center Council.
The Towson Senior Rebels, a social group which meets in St. Isaac Jogues Church Hall, just celebrated its 25th anniversary.
The Rebels got started in 1986, when some members of the Towson Moose decided to start their own independent organization for parties, trips and bingos. The late pastor of St. Isaac's, the Rev. James Cronin, invited the Rebels to use the church hall for their events and they have been going strong ever since. Mariela Mendoza, owner of Curves of Parkville, at 2160 Joppa Road, tells me that Curves plans to give back to service members and their families by offering a limited number of six-month memberships at no charge to actively deployed reservists and National Guard personnel and their immediate family members.
