Parking is tight for the fireworks, but parking available at $5 per car at Fullerton Manor Bingo or Melvin's Tire & Auto. Main streets leading to Fullerton Park will be closed at 6 p.m.
To defray the cost of the fireworks, donatd to Fullerton Fireworks, PO Box 19433, Baltimore, MD 21206, or contribute through Paypal using the Donate link on the website http://www.fullertonfireworks.com or drop it in the collection jars in more than 40 local businesses on Belair Road. Also, field collectors wearing event shirts on July 4. Field Collectors will be stationed at the Henry Avenue entrance to Fullerton Park, at Leslie and Fullerton avenues, at Belair Road and Fullerton Avenue and covering the park before and after the fireworks.
Kingsville Independence Parade takes place Wed., July 4 (no rain date) at the triangle of Belair, Jerusalem and Bradshaw roads. The 2012 theme is "From Sea to Shining Sea, We Celebrate Freedom". The parade begins at the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Co. on Bellevue Road, follows Bradshaw Road to Jerusalem Road and the reviewing stand and finally winds up at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Pre-parade entertainment begins at 9:30 a.m. and the opening ceremonies commence at 11a.m.
Seven Oaks Senior Center, 9210 Seven Courts Dr. in Perry Hall will hold a July 4 party and installation of officers on Tuesday, July 3 at 12:30 p.m. Join in the festivities to install the newly elected officers of the Seven Oaks Senior Center. board while enjoying our July 4 celebration. Lunch of coleslaw, pulled pork barbecue, green beans, potato roll, fresh fruit and deluxe cake. Cost $2.50 donation.
