Arbutus crime log: Store employee and customer halt armed robber at Lansdowne Station

Courtney Road, 900 block, between Nov. 18, 12 noon, and Nov. 25, 11 a.m. Lock on shed cut. Mower, generator and gas can stolen.

Washington Boulevard, 3600 block, Nov. 24, 11:33 a.m. Employee at Movie Stop confronted man armed with a handgun who entered the store. Man was subdued with help of customer until police arrived. Man arrested and charged with attempted robbery and first degree assault.

Parker Avenue, 1400 block, between Nov. 21, 5 p.m., and Nov. 23, 7:56 a.m. Four batteries stolen from Baltimore Auto Supply.

Bigley Avenue, 300 block, Nov. 21, between 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Guitar stolen from residence.

Carmella Drive, 4800 block, between Nov. 19, 11:30 p.m., and Nov. 20, 10:30 a.m. Lock broken on shed at residence. Two chain saws and two power drills stolen.

Carmella Drive, 4800 block, between Nov. 19, 10:13 p.m., and Nov. 20, 2:30 p.m. Two snow throwers stolen from under deck of residence.

Belwood Green, 4700 block, Nov. 19, 6:35 p.m. Three men assaulted pizza delivery man and stole pizzas.

Hollins Ferry Road, 3300 block, Nov. 19, 2:46 p.m. Garage window broken. Impact gun stolen at business. Two men arrested attempting to steal several transmissions. Men charged with second degree burglary and grand theft.

Sulphur Spring Road, 1600 block, between Nov. 17, 1 p.m., and Nov. 19, 6:30 a.m. Window broken at City Electric. Nothing reported stolen.
