The August J. Raveio American Legion Post 195 installed new officers for 2012-13. • Sons of the American Legion will host its annual crab feast 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at 2603 Virginia Ave. In addition to steamed crabs, the menu includes crab soup, beef barbecue, fried chicken, hot dogs with sauerkraut, potato salad, coleslaw, green beans, corn on the cob, vegetable tray, watermelon, rolls, cake and coffee. The CRB Band will entertain.

The Lansdowne-Baltimore Highlands Senior Center, 424 Third Ave., celebrates summer with a luau from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 26. Rib eye steak, baked potatoes, herbed carrots, coleslaw, rolls and apple crumble will be served with Cathleen Kenny offering entertainment. Tickets cost $6 and must be purchased by July 24.

Christ United Methodist Church plans an outing to Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Saturday, Aug. 11, to watch the Baltimore Orioles challenge the Kansas City Royals at 7 p.m. Before the game, a statue of former Oriole and baseball Hall of Fame member Eddie Murray will be unveiled.
