Two people were flown to shock trauma after separate incidents Friday and Sunday.

Most recently, a Havre de Grace man was injured by injured by a boat propeller.

The 40-year-old man was at the City Yacht Basin at about 12:35 p.m. when he somehow got too close to a running boat, lacerating his leg between the knee and hip, Maryland Natural Resources Police Sgt. Brian Albert said.

Albert said the incident is still being investigated.

"There were a bunch of boats that were resting all together and it was pretty rough water," he said of the conditions at the time.

The man, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, was expected to be in the hospital for four days, Albert said.

Maryland State Police and the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps also responded to the incident.

The woman was released the following day, Hooper added.
