Letter: Family of fallen officer thankful for community support

Where do we even begin to thank an entire community?

There aren't words to express our gratitude for the outpouring of love, thoughtfulness, and selfless sacrifices made to help our family get through the last few weeks. The Harford County Sheriff and hundreds of deputies and their families were with us every step of this tragedy.

They were also heartbroken and continued to watch over our family. Thank you Harford County Sheriffs Office, you are Class and we will never forget your kindness. We also want to thank the numerous representatives of Harford County Government, Upper Chesapeake Health System, Mountain Christian Church and School, public safety agencies throughout the region, dear friends, and family. This is only a short list of those who have come into our lives and attended to every need when we didn't even know what our needs were. Thank you, God bless you ...
