Playing in their final home game of the 2012 season, the Aberdeen IronBirds lost, 12-9, to the Hudson Valley Renegades.
With the defeat, Aberdeen fell to 26-47 for the year.
Creede Simpson led Aberdeen at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run - his fifth round-tripper of the season - a triple and four RBIs. Will Howard was 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs in the loss.
Taking the loss was Aberdeen starter Lex Rutledge (0-3), who walked two and allowed five earned runs on two hits over one inning of work.
