IronBirds lose again, 7-6, in extras to Hudson Valley Saturday

The Aberdeen IronBirds (25-40) dropped their Saturday night road engagement with Hudson Valley, losing 7-6 in 11 innings.

The game was tied 6-6 from the fifth inning until the bottom of the 11th, when the host-team Renegades scored the winning run.

Creede Simpson paced the IronBirds' lineup, going 2-for-5 with a three-run homer, his fourth round-tripper of the season.

IronBird reliever Bennett Parry (0-2) took the loss, going 1-2/3 innings in which he allowed one unearned run on one hit.
