IronBirds lose to Connecticut, 4-1

The Aberdeen IronBirds managed just three hits and one run on Saturday night in a 4-1 road loss to the Connecticut Tigers.

The defeat, their second in a row, put Aberdeen at 24-34 for the season.

Will Howard was 1-for-3 with Aberdeen's lone RBI, while teammate Torsten Boss was 1-for-4 with one run scored.

Taking the loss was Aberdeen starter Jorge Rivera, who struck out three, walked four and surrendered three earned runs on four hits over 3-2/3 innings.
