Forest Hill man injures fingers in concrete grinder

A 26-year-old man was taken to a regional specialty center to have three fingers amputated following an accident with a concrete grinder Saturday morning.

EMS crews received the call for an incident in the 1300 block of Cooptown Road in Forest Hill around 9:30 a.m., Rich Gardiner, Harford County Fire and EMS Association spokesman said. Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the accident.

Circumstances of the accident, Gardiner explained, involved part of the grinding wheel coming off and injuring the man.
