The Wilson Center Art Show will be held Friday, Sept. 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. with live music, Saturday, Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 9 from noon to 5 p.m. Come join us in this most gala event.

The annual Darlington Elementary School reunion will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Darlington Fire Co. Social Hall. Please bring any pictures you may have from the "olden" days. We will have a table available to display them. Everyone enjoys viewing the olden days. Mt Vernon United Methodist Church is planning its second annual Fall Festival scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organizers are looking for crafters, small retailers, flea market vendors, and antiques vendors. Space will rent as follows: 10-by-20-foot, $15 and 20-by-20-foot, $20.
