HCC to host computer open house Aug. 28

Harford Community College will host a computer training open house on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. in Edgewood Hall, Room 132 with instructors and staff available to discuss details about computer training courses and certification preparation programs offered by the Continuing Education and Training Division.

HCC offers fundamental and advanced certification preparation taught by certified instructors in A+, CASP, Network+, Security+, CISCO, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Ask about earning a certificate in Essentials of Network & Security Administration to boost a resume and open doors to higher-level employment. After earning the certificate and obtaining the necessary certifications, students may be eligible for college credit toward an associate's degree in information assurance through Harford Community College.

Instructors and staff will also be available to discuss HCC's Print Graphic Design and Web Graphic Design certification programs and answer specific questions about computer courses.
