Cinderella's Closet open for prom dress giveaways

The Aberdeen Lioness and Lions Club is sponsoring a Cinderella's Closet on three different dates and locations.

They have more than 300 brand new or gently-used prom gowns to give to girls wanting to attend their school's prom, but who have difficultly affording the cost of a dress. Each girl will have the opportunity to choose a free gown. A current high school student ID is required to receive a dress. There are limited quantities and sizes and they will be distributed on a first come first, served basis.

The dates and times of the event are: Sunday, March 4, 2 to 6 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 201 Mt. Royal Ave in Aberdeen; Saturday, March 17, noon to 4 p.m. at the Wingate Inn at 1326 Policy Drive in Riverside; and Tuesday, March 20, 5 to 9 p.m. at the Churchville Recreation Center at 111 Glenville Road in Churchville.
