Police search for Glen Burnie bank robber

Anne Arundel police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who robbed a bank Monday afternoon in Glen Burnie.

Police responded to the PNC Bank, at 7301 Ritchie Highway N., shortly after 12:15 p.m. Bank employees told police that a man entered the bank and presented a note to a teller demanding money.

He ran from the bank after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.The man did not display or threaten to use a weapon during the robbery, police said.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the man.

He is described as white and in his late 20s, weighing around 5 feet 10 inches tall with a patchy blonde beard and a protruding stomach and was last seen wearing a white Superman T-Shirt, desert camouflage shorts, white sneakers and a black baseball cap with a gray front.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Northern District Detectives at 410-222-6135.
