2001 Point Given

The line that began in Harford County with the birth of Maryland's first million dollar winning racehorse Jameela in 1976, was back a Triple Crown winner's circle when her great-grandson won the 2001 Preakness. Point Given, the son of 1995 Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes winner Thunder Gulch, would go on to win the Belmont and Travers Stakes ¿ a feat achieved by only a handful of other horses - and was named Horse of the Year for 2001. He currently stands at stud in Kentucky.
