The storm is moving east at 10 to 15 mph.
These storms could produce wind gusts up to 45 mph and frequent lightning strikes.
Today's forecast includes mostly cloudy skies and a high near 91 degrees.
Showers are likely to continue into the evening, followed by possible storms before midnight.
Nighttime temperatures will steady near 74 degrees.
Saturday: A high near 94 degrees with a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms.
Sunday: A high near 95 degrees with a 40 percent chance of storms.
