Our cup does not runneth over this week with special events at Orlando theme parks, but there are a few of note.
+ Saturday marks the beginning of the Summer Nights at SeaWorld promotion, which means extra hours of operation and the return of popular nighttime-only show. Look for "Shamu Rocks," "Sea Lions Tonite" and the fireworks-plus-fountains finale "Reflections." Other attractions, including the new TurtleTrek domed (and 3-D) movie remain open in the park, which closes at 10 p.m. Summer Nights, included in regular SeaWorld admission, continues through Aug. 12. + The Summer Concert Series at Universal Studios picks up Saturday with country singer Josh Turner. His performance is included in regular park admission. Show time is 8 p.m. More info: www.universalorlando.com.
+ The Sounds Like Summer concerts continue at Epcot. Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot will perform the Ultimate Billy Joel Show multiple times nightly at America Gardens Theater through Saturday. On Sunday, we shift to Stayin' Alive, a tribute to the Bee Gees. The shows are included in Epcot admission. More info: www.disneyworld.com/soundslikesummer.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
