Seve Ballesteros

Spanish golf legend Seve Ballesteros was a world No. 1 player, five-time Major winner and a five-time Ryder Cup winner as a player and as captain of the European Tour's Order of Merit. Ballesteros, named by Golf Digest as the greatest European golfer in the game, died May 7 in his home in Spain of a brain tumor.
