Robert Edward Femoyer, U.S. Air Force

According to <a href="http://floridamemory.com/items/show/144117">Florida Memory, Robert Edward Femoyer</a> was born Oct. 30, 1921 in Huntington, West Virginia. Femoyer later moved to Florida, and, in 1942, enlisted in the Air Force in Jacksonville and trained as pilot and navigator. He was wounded in an air raid of oil facilities and factories in Germany. He died from wounds shortly after directing the bomber safely home.
