Orlando Boone High offensive lineman Max Lang has another offer to add to his list for the 2011 recruiting season as Kansas has extended an invite to play for the Jayhawks.
"Yeah, me and Joe went and we both agreed we liked it a lot," Lang said. "The program definitely went up in my head."
Lang now has seven offers with Florida State, UCF, USF, FIU, South Carolina and Texas Tech on board so far.
Boone coach Phil Ziglar confirmed the Kansas offer to Lang on Wednesday and said the Jayhawks are also very interested in Martinson (5-11, 180), who has no official offers yet. He is the No. 41 player in the Central Floria Super60.
"They are very interested in Joe and I talked to coach Wimberly (Kansas safety coach Robert) and he said they would get back with me about Joe next week," Ziglar said.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
