Fabian Moreau plans to take his recruiting process as slow as possible.
For the Davie Western running back/defensive back, there really isn’t any reason to rush things.
“I want to wait until after the season,” the rising senior said of committing to a college. “So I’d like to take some official visits first.”
Moreau (6-0, 180) has just two NCAA Division I-A offers, so waiting to see what else comes to him only makes sense.
“I have offers from Western Michigan, Western Illinois, Bryant, FIU and Western Kentucky,” he said. “Well, Western Kentucky is going to offer soon.”
He wants to be as thorough as possible and see as many schools as he can, starting with a visit to FIU on Thursday.
“I haven’t been before but I’m looking forward to it,” he said.
FIU is currently in the lead for Moreau along with Western Michigan, although Western Michigan might have the advantage because the Broncos have offered him at running back while FIU is recruiting Moreau as a defensive back.
“I can play both but I like running back better,” Moreau said.
Moreau is also hearing from Miami, Kansas State, Louisville, Nebraska and a few others.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
