Rollins College presents 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee'

WHAT: Quirky Broadway musical "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" takes the stage at Rollins College's Annie Russell Theatre. In the show, misfit students compete to be the champion speller. Also in on the competition: a few hand-picked audience members.

Rachel Sheinkin won a 2005 Tony award for the book, or story line, of the show. Music and lyrics were written by William Finn.

At Rollins, Missy Barnes will direct, with musical direction by Jamey Ray.

WHEN: 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Nov. 15-16, and Wednesday-Friday, Nov. 20-22; 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17; 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23.
