From undrafted rookie to NBA starter.
DeQuan Jones will start in place of injured small forward Hedo Turkoglu when the Orlando Magic host the Phoenix Suns tonight at 6:10 p.m.
But Jones won't be Orlando's only first-time starter.
Newcomer E'Twaun Moore will make the first start of his two-year NBA career, replacing Jameer Nelson, who has a sore groin, hamstring and ankle.
"I am going to hold him out just to make sure," coach Jacque Vaughn said of Nelson. "He's day-to-day."
Arron Afflalo will start at shooting guard, while Glen Davis and Nik Vucevic will man the power forward and center spots, respectively.
Jones sat out the Magic's season-opener Friday because he was recovering from a muscle strain.
