Orlando Magic are selling four-game holiday ticket plans

Orlando Sentinel

Just in time for the holiday gift-giving season, the Orlando Magic are now selling special four-game ticket plans.

People who buy the premier plan will:

• be able to select one game from any of the following: the Jan. 4 game against the Miami Heat; the Jan. 24 game against the Los Angeles Lakers; the Feb. 7 game against the Oklahoma City Thunder; the Feb. 21 game against the New York Knicks; the March 5 game against the Houston Rockets; and the April 9 game against the Brooklyn Nets.

• be able to select the remaining three games from any matchups except the ones above, with the eligible games beginning on Nov. 24 and running through the rest of the season.

• receive a Magic 25th-anniversary Tervis tumbler, which is a type of insulated drinking glass.

The plans can be purchased until Dec. 31 and are priced as low as $99.

The Magic will enter their game tonight against the Miami Heat ranked 21st in the NBA in average home attendance, according to statistics kept by the league.

The team is drawing an average announced crowd of 16,022 people to its games at Amway Center.

The league average is 17,467 fans per game.

The Magic are drawing more fans than the Philadelphia 76ers (13,689 per game), Atlanta Hawks (15,109), Detroit Pistons (15,141), Phoenix Suns (15,231), Milwaukee Bucks (15,705), Charlotte Bobcats (15,736), Sacramento Kings (15,790), Minnesota Timberwolves (15,791) and Indiana Pacers (15,870).

At 9-1, the Pacers are tied for the NBA’s best record.

The Magic also are selling a less expensive four-game ticket plan, with prices starting at $60 for an upper-bowl seat and $99 for a lower-bowl seat. But that plan doesn’t include the previously mentioned home games against the Heat, Lakers, Thunder, Knicks, Rockets or Nets.

To buy either of the holiday ticket plans, you can call 407-89-MAGIC or visit the team’s website.
