Legoland: Annual-pass discounts, world record confirmed

Legoland Florida is offering a discounted annual pass for Florida residents. The deal on the Premium Pass, set to expire July 31, includes a full year of admission to the Winter Haven theme park and its water park with no black-out dates for $159 ($129 ages 3-12). That's a savings of $20.

The Premium Pass comes with free parking, discounts on food and merchandise and invites to the park's holiday offerings such as the Independence Day Red, Brick and Boom and Brick-or-Treat at Halloweentime. It's available at the park's box office or website (<a href=""></a>).

Legoland also is offering a $10 online-only discount for single-day tickets. The deal, running through Oct. 21, goes for $77 ($67 ages 3-12). This offer also includes Legoland's new water park, which normally comes with a $12 upcharge.

Legoland currently is open seven days a week. Beginning Saturday, the hours will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Those hours of operation will continue through Sept. 2.

<strong>UPDATE: </strong>Legoland Florida's attempt to break the world record for keeping beach balls up in the air has been authenticated by the Guiness World Record people. On May 24, to mark the opening of its water park, Legoland hosted folks that kept 1,294 beach balls bouncing. The previous record was 401.
