It has been two weeks since Kristine Miller Bruce's family has seen or heard from her, but they are not giving up their search.
"This has been very difficult for us," said cousin Norma Jean Torres. "This is totally uncharacteristic of her."
The family is meeting at 5 p.m. today at the Super Target at 3200 Rolling Oaks Boulevard in Kissimmee to pass out 1,000 fliers about the missing woman.
The group has already handed out about 3,000 fliers.
Bruce, 38, of a Kissimmee is a certified public accountant for Disney Cruise Lines who went missing Sept. 6 at 10:30 a.m. from her home in the 8600 block of Wellington Loop.
She was on medical leave after a recent surgery, Torres said.
"Her family told deputies Kristine has been depressed and her medication, personal belongings and cell phone are still at the residence,'' the Osceola County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
Bruce is 5-feet, 4-inches and 210 pounds and has medium-length brown hair, brown eyes and several tattoos, including a large gothic rabbit on her right shoulder and arm.
Anyone who sees Bruce is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-8477.
