Jester Theater Company has unveiled its ninth season lineup. The troupe, which specializes in comedy, is kicking things off this weekend, July 12-13, at the Sarasota Improv Festival. Here's Jester Theater Company's 2013-14 lineup in Orlando:
• The Big Oz, Nov. 8-24: A reprise of the comedy by Jay Hopkins and Stuart Maxwell in which the story of "The Wizard of Oz" crosses with gangsters in a film noir style. Performed 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center, 812 E. Rollins St., Orlando.
• Harvey, Feb. 14-March 2, 2014. Mary Chase's classic comedy about a man who has an invisible rabbit friend. The Pulitzer prize-winning work was famously adapted into a movie starring Jimmy Stewart. Performed at 8 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center, 812 E. Rollins St., Orlando.
• 2nd annual Jester Theater Comedy Cabaret and Variety Show, one-night show in late spring, exact date to be determined.
