Girls basketball: Trinity Prep's Felicia Coleman sets school record

Senior Felicia Coleman broke Trinity Prep's assist record in a 55-29 win over visiting OCP on Monday.

Coleman, who finished the game with 16 points and 10 assists, now has 313 career assists. The record was held by Angela Guiu, who recorded 311 assists between 2000-2004.

Coleman has been averaging seven assists and almost 15 points per game for Trinity Prep (4-0).

"She's unselfish," Trinity Prep coach Sam Stewart said. "She looks to push the ball up the floor on the fastbreak. We get the kids running up the floor and she's such a good ball-handler, she can look ahead."

Allison Timo had 18 points for Trinity Prep. Nicole Martinez recorded 12 points for OCP.
