Get ready, Sanford. Jane Velez-Mitchell is coming to town to cover the George Zimmerman trial. She will be there Monday, HLN said Wednesday.
CNN's Ashleigh Banfield is anchoring from Sanford, and she will remain there next week, the channel said. CNN has correspondents George Howell, Martin Savidge and David Mattingly covering the trial. Sunny Hostin and Jean Casarez are offering legal analysis. CNN is also drawing on Orlando attorney Mark NeJame, who is working for Central Florida News 13 as well.
For ABC, Dan Abrams is delivering analysis and anchoring "Nightline" from Sanford. (He was back in New York on Thursday morning to anchor "Good Morning America.") Matt Gutman is reporting for all ABC platforms.
For Fox News Channel, national correspondent Phil Keating is reporting from Sanford. Greta Van Susteren was in Florida on Monday and Tuesday, but she departed.
Also based in Sanford: Mark Strassmann for CBS, Kerry Sanders for NBC and Craig Melvin for MSNBC.
It's probable we'll see more additions next week.
